They're really cute, exactly what I needed. But, it takes a bit of a pull and tug to get them open sometimes. I also painted mine, which made it even trickier to get them to open. I'm using these with children, so keep in mind if you plan as well that the pieces are bit hard to open. And I would not recommend this toy under the age of 3 as it is VERY small pieces.

These nesting dolls are kind of small I guess I should have read the description better,, but they are extremely soft wood and very well made, better quality than other sellers.
