Dry filters are better for dusty off road trails; oil treated filters collected the dust, I can clean the dry filter after a long dusty day on the trails. Clean air filters - better engine performance and mileage!

I wanted to replace the original oil wetted K&N filter on my HPS short are air intake. After many searches, most were of lower quality and had a wider base that will not fit. This one fitted perfectly with a few extra square inches of filtration surface. Note that AEM are essentially owned by the same firm as K&N and have the same high quality as the original filter.
