So in the middle of a gig, I can't seem to get enough lead guitar out at the board no matter how far I push it. Come to find the mic is on the floor because the mic stand didn't. The pivot just doesn't tighten enough. The mic is a little heavy for it? It's a Shure SM57. Other that that - the heavy base is good, stays put using the other one for the kick drum mic which is lighter, even on a questionable stage that vibrates a LOT. Fairly well built. Will consider some lock washers or something I guess.

This is a really well-built, stable, low-profile mic stand. I got it to mic drum kits, but it also works well as desktop stand.

works good, I've got a cat and it never fell or gotten out of balanced and I even spray painted it to fit my aesthetic better and its been a while and its still in perfect condition. love how adjustable it is and how it doesn't ruin my desk like the other desk mounts I've gotten before

（JP）オーテクのAT2020＋純正のショックマウント＋純正の金属製ポップカードを取り付けましたが、マイク取り付け部を最大まで伸ばした際に支えきれずに倒れます。土台部分に重石を追加するかテープ等で固定すればなんとか使えそう。その他は問題ありません。本来の用途とは違うのでしょうが、ゲーム用のデスク上で使用しています。マイクアーム（ネジを回して机の天板を挟んで固定するタイプ）が取り付けしにくい場合は選択肢に入ると思います。（EN）I installed an Audio-technica AT2020 + genuine-manufacturer shock mount + genuine-manufacturer metal pop filter, but when the microphone mount is extended to the maximum, it cannot support the microphone and falls over.If you add a weight to the base or fix it with tape, you can use it somehow.Other than that, there is no problem.Although it may not be the intended use, I am using it on a desk for games.If a microphone arm (the type fixed by turning a screw and clamping a tabletop board) is difficult to install, this would be an option.

This thing is sturdy! I have a cheapo $12 mic boom that I just had to replace. This did the trick. It has a solid base and works wonderfully so long as you don't turn the boom sideways too far. The foot is designed to hold the stand upright as long as the boom is inline with the base. Altogether, this is a fantastic little desktop/tabletop mic stand for doing interviews, podcasts, etc.

Es justo lo que se puede apreciar en la imagen. Perfecto para grabar bombos o amplificadores. La relación precio-calidad es excelente. Recomendado para uso rudo. La única parte que se ve endeble es la mariposa cromada, ese sistema no dura mucho si no se trata con cuidado."No viene con clip"

I've been podcasting for a year trying to find better mic stands and this one is by far the best one. Avoids having to go directly into the mic. You can now comfortably sit back and have the mic closer to your mouth for clear speaking goodness. I understand this stand isn't that good for heavy condenser mics, but there are ways around that. I'm not picky about products that do what they say they do. I recommend this stand for any podcaster or anybody who does music projects.
