Sticky mount works good so far. Compass somewhat accurate but takes time to get there. Need to choose location in car to maximize accuracy.

While it did require a whack to get the compass to read accurately, ever since it has pointed in the correct direction (and not at the magneto in the engine). I had to mount it on the dashboard in very hot weather - the thermometer legitimately read 50 C the day I installed it - but the adhesive has held on just fine. For the price, and if you can read Celsius, it's a nice little unit.
