Simple to use. Different size rings fits certain barrels: clear (size Small that fit my .380), black (size medium that fits my 9mm), and red (size large)The o rings are really thin and one of them ripped on me when I tried it once. I wish I had more than 3 rings per size, now I'm short a clear ringOther than that, batteries are included.

The unit fits very well in the bore and solves the issue of a small breach opening on a smaller pocket size gun.

Bought this to sight lasers on a Sig P250 9mm, Kahr PM9 9mm and Ruger LCP Max 0.380. Very quick to set up and adjust. O rings needed just a little bit of lube to slide in. Accurate and Quick. Not much else to say. Would buy again.

The only draw-back is the alignment O rings. They are very delicate, and I was too harsh with them. I ask to purchase more 'o' rings as I like the alignment tool very much. I was sent several packages from the seller with no charge. Thank you so very much! I used this to 'bore sight' to set up my at home assembled AR-15 W/20-inch barrel. (40-year earthmoving equipment mechanic but not a gunsmith at all) At the range first shot at100 yard was at 3:00 on the edge of the target. I was shooting 2" groups after the next 6 alignment shots. So quick and easy to get that scope Zeroed in! I will be using this on many of my other rifles and pistols to get a very close sight alignment for range zeroing in my scopes and my iron sights. Seller is very quick to respond to question and requests. GREAT people to work with. Just take care with the alignment O rings and you will enjoy long use of this tool. I will be buying other bore sized in the very near future.

I initially tested this by attempting to zero down a long hallway. Range about 10 yards. The laser deviated a few inches at the wall depending on rotation. There is no way this will zero at 30 yards let a lot 300.Furthermore I chucked the bore plug part in a drill and spun the drill. The plug did not wobble on its axis but the laser module wobbled on the bore axis. The laser and bore plug axis are not even close to being concentric.

I put new sights on my Bodyguard 380. I purchased this item to see how far off they were. The laser is very bright and easy to use. By changing the o rings (they are included) it can be used for several calipers. I am so pleased with this purchase that I am going to order a larger one for my other guns.

I have bore sighters for my larger caliber pistols and rifles that fit into the chambers. But I also have a number of air guns, both pistols and rifles so I wanted to try this .177 boresighter. I prefer bore sighters that fit in the chamber but for .177 that is not an option. This is the best solution for that that I have been able to find. The black O rings that came installed on the tail piece left it sloppy in the barrel. I switched over to the largest red O rings and that made it slide in quite tight. So tight in fact that I felt I needed to put oil on the O rings to prevent damage. I recommend that because it now slides in easily but it's very snug so there is no wobble causing it to be off center. For the rifles where the bore/barrel comes right to the end of the gun, it works very well. Handguns are the same if the bore/barrel comes to the end of the gun. On my Glock 17 handgun/ BB gun the end of the barrel is recessed a little bit into the barrel housing and only engages two of the O rings. That still holds it fairly steady so it is OK, but I would have preferred a longer tail piece with more space between the body and the first O ring toward the tail. The tail piece is threaded into the main body and you must make sure that it is very tight, or the front piece will wobble and you will have no consistency at all. There is a notch on the end of the tail that you can put a screwdriver in and tighten it. You must also be careful not to bend the tail piece with relation to the main body or accuracy will be compromised. This bore sighter is definitely worth the price in order to get your airguns onto paper quickly. To help understand how I rate items:Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would most likely purchase it again if needed .Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative. Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.
