Product Description

  • The 8180 is a compact, versatile device that packs a punch. Able to produce approximately eight times the volume of a telephone speaker, the 8180 can easily be installed on a wall and integrates into a phone system for highly noticeable communication. The audio alerter also features wideband audio, offering enhanced speech clarity and intelligibility for most environments, including large areas and open spaces.​
  • Leveraging multicast, the 8180 can simultaneously broadcast live voice pages or active ringtones over the network to other Algo IP speakers (including additional 8180 devices) and IP visual alerters. Multicasting can be done all at once or in zone groups.​
  • With an embedded microphone, the 8180 can monitor ambient noise, automatically adjusting the speaker volume according to the background noise levels for effective paging and alerting. The microphone may also be used for two-way talkback. This enables users to communicate with an audience standing nearby the speaker.
