I haven't tried the device other than plugging it in and downloading the app... It works and it arrived promptly and also exactly as described on Amazon

This is one cool tool for my shop; I can put it down the cylinders to check for wear or in the intake manifold to check for carbon buildup. Even works great for checking sewer lines for blockage. Kids love putting it in their ears to see all the disgusting wax too.

We are 10 months into owning this, of course as a small business its only something we have used 2 times, and in the 3rd time this week it would not work. The app is saying its not plugged in. We have e tried 4 different phones and no luck. The return window is closed so guess there isnt anything we can do now….

I recently purchased the Teslong 50FT Sewer Camera with USB C connection, and I am quite impressed with its performance. This camera has been a valuable tool for inspecting and diagnosing plumbing issues in my home. The 50-foot cable length is more than sufficient for reaching deep into pipes and drains, providing a thorough inspection capability. The camera itself delivers clear and detailed images, which makes identifying blockages and other issues much easier. The adjustable LED lights on the camera tip are a great feature, ensuring good visibility even in dark and murky conditions. The USB C connection is convenient and works seamlessly with my laptop and smartphone. The included app is user-friendly and allows for easy control and image capture during inspections. Setting up the camera and getting it operational was straightforward, with clear instructions provided. One area for improvement is the cable’s flexibility. While it’s durable, it can be a bit stiff, making navigation through tight bends and curves somewhat challenging. Additionally, the camera’s resolution, while generally good, could be slightly better for finer details in some situations.Overall, the Teslong 50FT Sewer Camera is a reliable and effective tool for anyone needing to inspect drains and pipes. Despite a few minor drawbacks, it offers excellent value for its price and has significantly helped me in maintaining my plumbing system. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I had a pipe coming into my garage that I have no idea why it is there or where it is coming from. Instead of paying a ton of money to have someone come snake it I figured I’d spend $40 to see if I could find the end on my own. This product worked great. It gets a little had to guide it the further in you go but that’s pretty obvious. I’d say this is a good product for smaller scale stuff. And so far worth the money

Wanted to locate a possible problem in a 4 inch sewer line. The line itself was "clean" and just had clear dribbles of water in it. Had previously cleared a clog and was looking to see if it was a root issue. The illumination is not as bright as I wished it was.Using it (bending, inserting) wasn't a problem as I could feed into the pipe just fine but the view on the cell phone app was bad. Once the head gets wet, the camera becomes so distorted, you're unable to tell what you are looking at.It may work better if fully submerged but that would have been impossible for me to do. Looking at using a ping-pong ball or hand ball and making a hole, insert through like a large grommet and seeing if it will float.

So when you hold it in the air it's a great camera. Unfortunately when you put it in the pipe it's like it loses it's depth perception and you can't see a thing without the resolution of contrast made by daylight. I've seen actual contractor grade camera and they are build different with a purposely more low resolution screen, but you see the issue. The contractor cameras are also much larger on the end. This has like a quarter inch tip. Contractor ones are like an inch wide. This allows a wider angle lens and more lights, and since it isnt powered from the phone jack they put out a lot more lumens. This high resolution with low contrast appears to keep it from working in the dark environment as dumb as they sounds.it's going back. which I feel bad about because it's the kind of item that can't be resold used, but it literally doesn't work.I even went risky and taped a cheap light to it to help illuminate and it just cant. being so small on the end a quarter inch of water in the pipe is too much and it can't see.

Probably at the head of the probe there should be something to lift it and avoid touching walls or pipe that is dirty and plug the camera

It's is sturdy and easy to use and install. However, I tried using the product in a drain pipe, and it doesn't work well. The camera easily get dirty and you cannot see one you get some dirt on the len. I do not recommend this product.
