Pros: test tubes are super cute , good quality and love the colors . The lids are fantastic too.Cons: as stated it is a cardboard tray, but the whole thing was bent up and slightly ripped when I opened the package. I tried to fix it but it just looked sad.I decided not to return it because I like the tubes!

only thing is, you need to make a tiny slit with a knife on the lids/caps so they secure tightly and won’t pop off…once that is done, they can be used over and over again

Love them but I wish the holder was waterproof and more sturdy.

Cap Solution. Ok I recently purchased these for alcohol shots. I notice many complaints about the caps. But I also noticed some people didnt complain. So I took the risk that it wasnt a problem. Well the caps are a HUGE PROBLEM. They dont stay on. Maybe about 1 out of 10. So after trying to force them on I took a few minutes to think about the problem. They are coming off because the tabs which are used to seal the caps are just too tight and once you push down they begin to flip up slowly. Resulting in the top not staying on for any significant amount of time. So this is a pressure problem. So what I did was cut a small section of the bottom tab off to relieve the pressure. I then cut several snips in the top tab to also relieve pressure. This allowed the cap to remain liquid sealed while not being able to produce enough pressure to pop its self off. It will take about 5 seconds per cap, but if having a cap matters to you like it mattered to me, it was worth it. Its a week later and the caps are still on with no problem. The factory really should do this on their end and deliver a product that works. But since it was cheap I wont complain. 5 star product minus 1 star for faulty caps.

These are too small for most uses. I could get one gummy worm in, or mini m&ms. Cardboard holder is flimsy. Pretty cheap product. But I didn't pay a ton so I guessing get what you pay for.

I would not buy these again. I was making drinks for an event. My first mistake was to buy these based on quantity and price versus buying the brand I previously purchased from Amazon that only ad 25. My second mistake was waiting until the day of the event to put labels on the tubes and fill with liquor. Well the labels would not stick and the caps would not stay closed. After over an hour of trying to keep the caps on. I went back to the Amazon site and read the reviews and luckily someone gave instructions on how to secure the caps. It took over two hours too much work...

Got for my sons science party, rolled up the invitations and handed them out in these. also filled with candy for the goody bags. This was a great buy, they are well made, great colors, caps fit well but not too tight. Using them now for a 'tooth tube' to keep the kids lost teeth in. I can see unlimited uses for these neat little test tubes.

My son is turning 10 and is having his party at his fave comic shop. It's a geek out theme with Doctor Who, Pokemon, LOTR, Hobbit, Legos, etc. I filled these test tubes with Nerds and am using address labels to make little "Thanks for NERDING out with Dallas at his birthday party!!!" tags.Test tubes are sturdy plastic and are perfect size. I'm going to upload a pic of them also so check it out. My son flipped for them!!! Just twist the tops as you push them in and they'll stay put. Enjoy!!!!

I purchased these for my son's Mad Science Birthday party. They were GREAT! Loved the colors and the stand they came in. Futures buyers beware that they do hold skittles and nerds well, however, m&m's are too wide as were nerd jelly beans. They were perfect favors and I would recommend.

While these are listed as Plastic Test Tubes I have found my own use for them. I am a hobbyist crafter and design my own scented bath salts and bubble bath liquids. I must say that these tubes are the perfect size for individual uses. Each tube hold just the right amount of salts or liquids without eating away at the plastics. Caps fit snuggly into the tubes for no spillage. I will definately be looking to order more of these tubes. They work great for simple projects and wont break if dropped. While the cardboard rack is ok its not the greatest if your going to be frequently pulling the tubes out and putting them back in. Over all this is a great product.

I ordered several items from this seller and was happy with all of them. Caps stay on, nothing was broken. Rack is flimsy, but okay if you use tape reinforcement and don't put pressure on it. Meant to be a display item or used to help fill the tubes but don't plan on reusing a lot. Tubes themselves are quality plastic, but don't drop on the floor or squeeze too hard - like most novelty test tube items, they will break or crack if misused. Great price for what they are - fun for a party, for drinks, candy or filling with sugars, etc.
