I am satisfied with the bags. I took one star off because of the velcro enclosure that does not seem like it will hold up after continuous use. I am very glad to know that these are waterresistant and fireproof. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

I was using these and still harboring a bit of doubt. That doubt floated away when I placed my cell phone inside the bag and closed it. Something happened immediately…my music from a portable speaker in a different room STOPPED. I then opened the bag. My music restarted. In rapid succession, like a kid with a new exciting toy, I opened and closed the bag several more times. My music followed the action of the bag and toggled between playing and not as I simply grinned. These bags work.I am THRILLED to own such a nice collection in various sizes.

This 5-pack of Faraday bags has a great assortment of sizes. The largest bag will easily fit a laptop - maybe two of them. The smallest is sized for a single key and key-fob. You should note - the photo shows them as slightly see-thru - that is NOT the case in real life. The photo is just for demonstration purposes; these are solid bags.I like the velcro closure - you fold it over twice and the velcro holds tight. In the past I have spent $30 on a single Faraday bag, so this is a great value for a 5-pack.

The Yokvide Store offers a 5-bag set of Faraday protective envelopes with a roll top to securely block RF signals from going into or out of the envelopes ("bags"). When comparing these Faraday bags to others, I can only find minor differences, such as the color of the velcro strips at the opening. The non-conductive material, the stitching, and the internal wire mesh material are indistinguishable. The largest of the envelopes is 16.9" × 15.0, and the smallest is 5.7" x 3.8" (suitable for an automotive key fob).I tested the ability of these envelopes to block cell phone and key fob signals with total success. This is a very nice set of Faraday envelopes and is a good value in the same $20 range as comparable products on Amazon.com.As with all Faraday bags, these should ideally be tested with an RF field strength meter to determine the relative degree of shielding that these products provide, especially if you are concerned about EMP protection rather than just blocking trackers or key fob cloners.

The first thing I noticed upon receiving these is that the fabric looks and feels very similar to the fireproof document bags which I bought a couple of years ago. So, the claim of being fireproof is likely true. Obviously, I'm not going to put this to the test. Same as waterproof; though I would say they are water resistant, like if you poured water on them when sealed they would not harm what's inside. I just don't think the velcro seal would work if they were submerged in water.I did test 3 of the bags for faraday worthiness. I could not make a phone call to my smartphone right after enclosing and sealing a bag. The call went straight to voicemail as if the phone was turned off. I also could not see the phone with Bluetooth nor see it on my WiFi router once sealed in a bag.

Well I bought these to hide from all the secret spies trying to find me, but these have much more practical uses. Yeah they really do stop a signal, or at least for my key fobs, phone, tablet and laptop which I tried. Now I have a place to leave my car keys when I travel, which is usually right by the garage entrance, except now I have comfort that no one will start my vehicle and ride off. The second size up fits my ProMax iPhone in a case perfectly. No signals of bluetooth, cellular nor wi-fi. Yep, I'm now in stealth mode. Actually considered traveling with this as a phone holder when I travel, but those darn airlines would make me print out a ticket and we do need to be environmentally responsible. For my laptops, there's always a fear of leaving them in a backpack in the trunk of a rental while grabbing dinner on the road - yeah, unfortunately folks come around with wi-fi sniffers and break into vehicles and steal all the backpacks if they know there are computers in there. Stinks, but with these bags, no fear. Additionally, being waterproof and fireproof, one of these will end up holding a periodic data backup in case of catastrophic loss at my place - better safe than sorry. Overall very pleased. These velcro shut like folding a dry bag top, so pretty easy to use. And I'd be remiss if I didn't rave about how well made these seem to be - nothing loose, fabric covering all the joined ends, reflective tape so they can be located, velcro that works, and this is covered in a plastic-like fabric which protects the wires inside which create the faraday effect. Super cool.

Sturdy construction but flexible and relatively lightweight. They're not transparent like the current listing image implies, they're 100% opaque. That's good. The velcro is super strong but attached very securely, so it's not going to pull away from the bag when opening. The bags blocked all mobile phone signals successfully. I also tested my Toyota key fob inside the smaller bags and they blocked the signal 100%. (Thank goodness, otherwise my car alarm would have gone off.) Wifi couldn’t access my tablet inside either, which is a good thing, but obviously that disables the “find my” feature. So, I’m thinking about attaching a tracker to the outside of the bag just in case.A few of these faraday bags are being used as storage for external hard drives and SD cards, but I primarily ordered them to store lithium batteries inside my camera bag or luggage. I’ve seen far too many videos of batteries catching fire (while charging or not) so I use the biggest faraday bag as both storage and a fire resistant surface upon which to charge camera batteries. It’s not a perfect solution, just an additional layer of protection.
