The inventor of these bulbs was a genius. As a 15 year handyman, I install a lot of lights in homes. Instead of removing the entire can lights and install new LED light kits, these LED bulbs are telescopic and have a frame built into them. You just remove the old incandescent bulb, pull out bulb to desired length, screw it in socket and push it up until it reaches the ceiling. New modern look with LED lights and all you had to do was replace the bulb. Love these bulbs!

I couldn’t believe how these lights instantly transformed my outdated can lights into a more modern flush mount LED. The color is a warm white, but still very bright. They seem durable and definitely easy on the budget.

I bought these to replace 10, 28 year old high hats in my den. My switches have dimmers on them, however the old lights would flicker if they weren't fully powered. I wanted to replace them as they looked shabby and couldn't be dimmed. I found these and they looked simple to install, so pulled the trigger. Glad I did. I had all 10 installed in about 25 minutes, which included removing the old bulbs and high hat assemblies. I did encounter one issue when installing the first one. I fully extended the LED, per the instructions, screwed it in, and then began to push to retract the telescopic component and flush the light to the ceiling. However, my high hats are braced by an L bracket inside the assembly, which promptly bent when I applied pressure. I straightened it and from that point forward, simply guesstimated how much extension I needed on the LED. Once you do one or two, you have a good idea of where it needs to be and the rest of the installation was pretty easy. Still had to make an adjustment on one or two, but not a big deal. They look good, are much brighter than what I had before and can be dimmed to the level I want. I'm going to purchase four more to install in my kitchen. Very happy with these.

Replaced my old ceiling can lights with these. Easy to install and can be adjusted for a smooth tight fit. They provide nice bright light. I have had them for about a year and they work great.

No one thing stands out except possibly ease of installation at the very end.Chose the 4000K/800 lumen model, and replaced 850 lumen bulbs inside the recessed and very buggy can lights. These are brighter since the light is surfaced mounted and that was the main point for me. The cans are old and bug spotted and the surface rings were full of dead bugs, pretty gross. So besides being brighter, these look way nicer and won't be as buggy and we can't see the can bug spots any more.One may also be able to apply a thin ring of caulk put just outside of can ring opening as a further barrier against bugs crawling inside and tighten this light against that seal.Price was very reasonable for all it accomplished. The hardest part was removing the can trim ring on the ceiling so this light would tighten against ceiling (not against the trim ring). It looked way better than leaving the ring, in our case anyway. Had to use a box cutter to slice around the edge through a couple layers of paint. After that and a little touch up paint, the light install was easy. Refer to the instruction tips to get the light flush when tightening.A great product!
