we have a huge Rattle snake problem. these just work that great. the hook will not always stay on. I was moving large snake and it was very frustrating.would not purchase again.

These hooks are lightweight but sturdy. I've used them to help a friend who's terrified of snakes relocate racers off of her property, since otherwise she or her husband would likely 'dispatch' them instead. I've not used these hooks on anything larger, but as long as the snake isn't too heavy they should be fine.General warning - only trained professionals should handle venemous snakes. If you know there are venemous snakes present in your area and you are unable to identify the snake you want to relocate, play it safe and contact animal control (or equivalent)

These are actually a lot more than I was expecting. The handle is gorgeous. Who knew that could even be a thing. My teenager has an 8lb snake which seems a bit heavy for this... so don't go hunting down Burmese pythons or anything. Great for smaller snakes.
