This looks like it is very well made. It is not cheap plastic, this is made of metal. And it is nice looking as well. Much better than the cheap plastic that usually comes in an RVThis should stop some of the temperature variations that are so common in an RV shower. I also like the low profile of the unit. It does not stick out nearly as far as the factory faucet control, so hopefully I won't be banging my elbow quite so much. Honestly, I would swap them out for that upgrade alone!

Most things that go into an RV are made of cheap and flimsy plastic. That is exactly the opposite of this valve. It weighs several pounds. Make sure your shower walls are sturdy enough to support the weight of this heavy faucet. Install was fairly simple, all of the hardware and fittings that I needed for my RV was included in the kit, no extra trips to the hardware store. I replaced one of those cheap and flimsy valves. I like this because you can't accidentally bump the water on. We pack items into our shower on travel days and on several occasions the old valves would get pumped and water would leak all over everything we had stored in the shower. This new valve fixes that problem. The temp control also works good. It was always a pain to try and get just the right amount of hot and cold figured out with our old one. Now was can leave that setting set once we like it and every time we come back into the shower it is ready to go. This really helps us save water when we are boondocking and still want to shower.
