You will need 6 AAA batteries. But that's no problem, for the price. I love how they feel in my hand,they are well made. These tools are metal, so they feel sturdy and the weight is just right. The lights help me to see cuts and details when weeding htv. The points are sharp and strong. They will not bend easily. I love them and I will by again.

Used this to weed permanent vynl the added light on the end was a great addition. Tools are really sharp but super easy to use. After batteries are installed into the handle the prodect has a great weight ratio and feels like a great quality.

Immediately after opening this package I attached the top needle portion to the handle portion. Upon first use the item fell apart and cracked at the attachment site. I thought maybe it was a user error so I proceeded to give it a try with the second of three included tools. The second tool also immediately broke.

Love this tool! I wear glasses so the extra light helps with weeding. Easy to use, great value for the price. Occasionally the clicker falls out and needs to be reinserted if you can find it.
