This ball chain looks and feels like every other chain of this type I've handled. I was a little disappointed it comes in a bag vs. on a spool as the pictures would indicate. This chain is also larger than the typical chains we have on our house fans, so keep that in mind and double check the measurements if you want to extend existing chains.

One week after I got this, I used it to fix the fan in one of my bedrooms. The original chain broke off. With this kit, I used one of the connector and added a new chain length. There are over 30 ft of chain and 10 connectors. This is a good set of have around the house.
