I used this set of levels to mount a rifle scope on a PCP rifle. It made the job easier and, from what I can tell, there is little or no cant whatsoever.

I mount scopes on my firearms and needed better levels to get the scope and mount level when installing them. I especially like the pic rail level which is a confirmation that the scope tube level is correct. I have really cut down the time it takes me to set up a scope on my firearms and I now have more confidence that the scope is mounted perfectly. This is a must have kit if you mount optics on your firearms yourself.

Got a few scopes that I need to mount for hunting season. I needed something to ensure they are mounted correctly. Last year I used a door frame in my basement to get the scope to be level….. well my door or the bench I use isn’t level. These will help. My thoughts:Pros:- a variety of levels to ensure a proper install- love the pic rail one for AR installs- work well!Cons:- feels a bit cheapThese will solve your scope mounting woes! Perfect for any scope you need mounted properly!

This is a handy dandy little kit that can be splt up for use on different firearms, or in conjunction on one scoped firearm for the ultimate highest degree of leveling. All the bubbles slide smoothly and don’t have any hang-ups, which has been an issue I’ve run into with other budget bubble levels that I have used. They are each so lightweight that it is barely noticeable weight adding them.The tube bubble level weighs in at only half an ounce, the Picatinny level is only 0.6-ounces, and the turret-top level is 0.4-ounces. If you don’t realize the importance of leveling your scope, especially in scenarios where you will be changing the distance of your shooting during a given session, then I recommend watching the very informative Smyth Busters video by Brownell’s on this subject hosted by Caleb.The turret cap level is *not* magnetic, so you’ll need some double-sided tape if you want it mounted. I was able to properly tighten down the scope tube level and picatinny level, but there wasn’t any thread-locker applied to the screws. I added some purple 222 Loctite which should keep the levels in place but also not too difficult to remove if I decide I want to install them on different scopes or rails down the road. Take note that on the scope tube level, that the screws insert from the bottom of the level housing, so you may not be able to install it on a mounted scope; you’ll most likely need to take your scope off your rifle to properly install this. On the picatinny level, if you look at bubble from above, you can see the glue underneath the plastic where it was glued to the aluminum, same goes for the turret top level, so the fit and finish could definitely be better on those. Once in place, however, these bubble levels work as they should and at twenty-three bucks, I consider this kit a decent value.

This scope leveling kit was easy to use and the working parts that matter work well. you can get better build quality in a more expensive set, but this set will get the job done at a lower price.
