The bolts to hold the rails down need to be all thread .I needed carage bolts to hold hardware to the gate they were regular bolts I had to buy all new bolts for it to work. I finally got it done and it works fine. A little disappointed over all.

Once installed works great. Buyers should be aware that this is a universal product. The carriage bolts that come with the kit where long and not threaded all the way to the top. This is fine if your tailer rails are round.Mine were flat. I had to replace all eight bolts with threads the full length of the bolts. A trip to the hardware store and a $ 7.00 tab solved the problem. Would I recommend this product. Absolutely works like a charm

used on a 8 x 16 foot trailer that i built a ramp for that turned out heavier than i anticipated and needed a ramp latch system anywaysome minor adjustments but works great

figuring out where to bolt cables on tailgate so they stay down till your ready for them to close, easy assembly. quality is good in my opinion,make closing gates so much easier,money well spent, they came as some kind of yellow/orange, I scuffed painted black for better appearance matching trailer color,fit was perfect. instructions were kind of blurry so used utube for better instructions says they weigh 40 lbs,

I was working under a shade tree with a few tools. The hole drilling in the key to a nice looking install. The provided lag bolts were a tad short for my round pipe top rail but it turned out nicely. I especially like the steel or aluminum rollers. I bought this after seeing a friend install on another brand. He has hard plastic rollers. It's less than a year old and one has cracked already. I recommend this lift.Cheers from Louisiana.
