This filter is perfect for my turtle tank! It works great in low water levels and keeps the water crystal clear. The adjustable flow is a nice feature, so I can control the water movement. It’s quiet, easy to set up, and works well for both freshwater and saltwater tanks. My baby turtle seem happy, and maintenance is simple. I use ReptoFilter filter replacements for all of my turtle filters. Highly recommend for anyone with a turtle tank!

Got this for our red eared slider and so far it’s done a good job filtering out his tank. I like that the water flow is easily adjustable with a turn dial on top and it’s not noisy! It has been running for a couple days now & even though the tank wasn’t super dirty, I can see the water is more clear. Cleaning out the filter seems pretty straight forward with removing them & rinsing with clean water. We’re looking to upgrade the tank so I like this is going to work in a larger one without having to replace. It’s a pretty bulky filter so be sure to check your tank size. I think it’s a good price point for what it does.

This is a very nice filter! I am using this as an upgrade to my old filter for my snapping turtle. One of my favorite features is the ability to change the water flow. My turtle doesn't like high water pressure, so I keep it on low and it still keeps the tank clean! It was easy to put on the tank and seems like it will last. Does put off some strange noises every now and then, but overall, not very noisy. Great turtle filter!

Great filter, super quiet, love how it is able to work with such low level in the tank. Filter is easy to remove for cleaning. There's a lid for the filter, wish it would snap into place instead of just placed on top. I have dropped the lid into the tank numerous times while removing filter. Filter tends to clog up and need cleaning on a daily basis if you have messy turtles, might need to have additonal filters on hand if you want to quickly swap filter out.

I am really impressed with the 290GPH Turtle Tank Filter! It’s perfect for my 20-55 gallon turtle tank and works great in both freshwater and saltwater setups. Not sure yet what to do for replacement cartridges. The filter moves water nice. I sucks right back up water it has just filtered, so needs another pump or device to make more flow. I have a flow pump already to make a little current so it works well. The filter cotton as it calls it, is an odd shape. I have yet to find one other than searching the combo offered that includes them. Expensive and long time shipping. The bio container is nice. I will probly stuff some floss in there and use it for the bio balls it comes with. I was looking for a quick and easy filter change for my wife's Turtle that I take care of, but she calls hers, lol.
