These connectors mate with any standard 0.1" spaced dual-row pin. The insulation displacement (IDC) contacts on these connectors allow them to be quickly and easily crimped onto flat ribbon cable. These are female sockets designed to connect to male pin headers. These connectors have a polarizing tab in the middle to ensure correct orientation when used with a shrouded header ("box header"). The main product photo, which clearly shows where the Pin 1 triangle is molded in plastic, depicts a connector with the following pin configuration (looking top down):16 ... 6 4 215 ... 5 3 1What you will receive, however, are connectors with the OPPOSITE pin configuration, with Pin 1 triangle correspondingly located on the other side from that advertised in the main product photo:15 ... 5 3 116 ... 6 4 2If you were instead expecting the pin configuration that was pictured, this will probably make the parts you receive useless for your purposes.When contacted about this discrepancy (with a detailed and clear description of my purchasing experience) the response I got back demonstrated that the fine folks at Connectors Pro either don't understand or simply don't care that their main product photo is incorrect. They just said, "this is what we've sold for 25 years, sorry". Great, how does that help me?I gave two stars since the product appears to be good quality, but minus three for an inaccurate product photo, misleading the customer, and for disappointing customer service.This was my first time purchasing from "Connectors Pro", and my last.
