These are well-made, sturdy, and big enough so that they should work in a number of settings (both men's and women's jackets or sweaters). The colors I ordered are nice, and there was a wide selection of colors to choose from. The arrived very quickly.

Had a sweater that the elbows were showing some wear. These are very nice suede elbow patches, but, the best thing is the pre-punched holes. Having the holes pre-punched made this project super easy. I would have liked larger elbow patches, but these work. The leather is thick enough and should extend the life of my sweater a few more years.

I have a beloved cashmere zip up hoodie I got for Christmas. In this era of energy conservation, its blessed warmth can stand up to a lowered thermostat. However, the elbows wore out. Enter these nifty leather patches! Holes are pre-punched!Put the sweater on and use chalk to mark the best place to put the patches. Centering the patches over the holes might not look right when you are wearing the sweater. (I learned THIS the hard way.) The patch will work great even if the hole is near the edge of the patch. As long as there is about 1/2 inch of good solid fabric past the hole to sew the patch to, it's fine.I recommend cutting a piece of cardstock to slip inside the sleeve when doing the repair. It makes it super easy. It's ok if you are old and can't use a tiny needle and thread anymore. I used a huge darning needle and some stout button thread, and had no problems. I would recommend using quality silk thread if one is repairing a quality garment. Silk is strong, and the cotton button thread I originally used wore out on me and I had to re-do it.The sweater is good to go for at least another five years.

I used these suede patches to protect the elbows of some of my favorite old wool sweaters that were beginning to show wear. The patches are well made and well worth the price. They could be improved by making them a bit longer or by offering them in an alternative slightly longer rectangular shape. For a man with long arms (I'm 6'3"), these are a touch too short in length, but they do the job and are exactly as described, hence my 5-star rating.

I love how big it is to cover up my whole knee area. I clean my floor on my knees all the time, so this product really helps in preventing holes in my pant’s knees. So far after a few days it’s holding up, and not ripping apart. Very sturdy. Am satisfied with this product.

First a shout out to an American product. I loved that it matched my shirt that I wanted to sew the patches onto, and they came with FABULOUS instructions for how to sew them on. They are holding up really well and I am now thinking about going through the closet and seeing what other articles of clothing I could jazz up with some patches on the sleeves. They come in a variety of wonderful colors and will pretty much set you apart with this addition to your shirt, jacket, sweater, or whatever you want to put a patch on.

It's hard to get a universal fit on patches, but I did get good coverage of an elbow on a sweater I love that is unraveling badly. The color was close enough although not exactly what I pictured, and I was surprised at how easy it was to sew on. Comes with holes already punched, so just follow the dots with your needle.
