Doesn’t last longer than 4 days. Gas get inside and sinks. Both floats did this . Don’t wast your money

It works and used to replace a punctured one.

These fuel sending unit floats work great! The soldering on them looks well done and more importantly, they float!Somehow the float on my 1985 Ford split along the length. Yes, you heard correctly, split long ways down the side. I had just replaced the sending unit and it worked great for a couple months, then one day the gauge wasn't reading tank level. After some investigation, found the float was full of fuel with a hairline crack down the side. Easy to swap, once you have access to the fuel tank.

Hearly universal older FORD tank floats and brass and exact fit. I doubt they wear out so use one and sell t he other.

Used to replace the float for a sending unit in a 1979 f100 rear tank. Popped right into the steel retainer ring.
