Very nice, Did a hard load test before and after and the three sensors off the same Western Digital NVMe dropped by 10'C ... Going to call that a win.. Also cooled off faster after load test of 100% read and 100% write was completed.. Nice! Thanks *****Would buy again.

I was looking for the cheapest ssd heatsink on Amazon and I found this one. I was expecting something cheap, but ended up with 2 great heatsinks. The heat conductivity is very impressive. Whenever I held it, it would genuinely hurt because of how cold it was. The install is fast and easy, the color is beautiful, and the shine is great. I couldn’t recommend this enough. My only complaint is the thermal pad color but if you mount it right you won’t even see it.

I was surprised how hot my USB stick SDR runs, so I bought these cheap and stuck them on my SDR, the coolers get very warm, so I'm assuming they're doing their job.

The item comes with good thermal pads, but the plastic bands that are supposed to secure the unit to the SSD are useless. Difficult to install, easy to break, lose their elasticity. I used small rubber bands made for a dental appliance and they work much better. The dental bands are rated for up to 80C, so I should be fine. On a Raspberry Pi, my NVMEs never get over 45C anyways. Once installed, the heat shields are bringing the operating temp down ~15C.

After trying a number of coolers these are as effective as more complex and expensive devices. I get about 5-10 degree temp reduction. For a low price.

My application is in a NVMe enclosure. As it turns out, there's not enough room in there for the heat sink. Oh well, it has a fan, so I think it will be fine. The bands are durable. I used some tools I have to get the back off of laptops to stretch them into place. They were tight and held up for both on and off.The heat sinks are well made. Very good looking gold aluminum or something that's light weight. The glue strips or silicone strips stuck less than a postit note. They kind of didn't slide around. They wouldn't go anywhere with the bands holding them down.I have no idea how much this would have helped. They wouldn't fit. However, it seemed well made.

A few of the motherboards I have built for people did not have heat sinks on the NVMe slot. This was a cost measure from the manufacturer I am sure, but still did not address heat migration, The new NVMe SSD's are great, but usually generate heat due to speed and proximity to the CPU or the Video card. These were good, inexpensive alternatives to addressing heat from the 2280 NVMe sticks. I do not have sensors to give exact statistics, but suffice to say they have reduced the heat at the NVMe slot. This came in a 2-pack with a thermal pad so all in all for less than $10 USD this was a steal!

This is the best kit as well as the first time I received strong and flexible rubber bands that are provided to keep the heat sinks on the chipset, it was hard to believe that not one broke on install. Previous rubber bands received from other vendors break over 50% of the time. Very fair price point and fast delivery so I highly recommend
