Just opened the package and I was delighted by the size and great shape these were in. Very very little chipping and only tiny pieces of wood came off the branches. They will do great in my tank.

Got wood? (Cmon y'all, real wood. No wait, wood from trees that grow..ah heck, trees with leaves!) This is a good deal. I got two NICE pieces perfect for aquascaping. Mopani is a dense wood that sinks easily. It will leach tannins so if tea colored water gets your goat, soak it for a week, changing the water every day or boil it.. I'd recommend this seller.

The dimensions are nowhere near what the listing says (2×6×22 inch). The pieces are interesting and have good contrast to them, but sizes just arent what I ordered. Yes, theyre natural and sizes vary, but generally if one dimension is greater than listed, then you can expect another dimension to be less, but +1 inch in one direction doesn't equate to -10 inch in another. The one piece is 3×6×12 inch, if it were more like 18" long instead of 12, then that would be acceptable, even 16" and I probably would have kept it... if it weren't for the other piece. The other piece is just a chunk. An interesting chunk, but not at all what I was expecting from the item description and photos. It is 10×7×5 inch. Again, if the 10" dimension were elongated another 4-5 inches, then it would have been acceptable. I'm returning them and attempting another order to hopefully get something more suitable. I'll update my review after I receive the new order.Update: The new order was totally different. One piece was huge, much wider than expected, and almost too big for what I was intending to use it for. The other piece has some character, but has quite a bit of rough splintered areas and is still shorter than expected. It's short and wide, which again, wasn't what I was going for and not what was expected by the item description. I can make these ones work though, much happier with this selection.

Ordering aquarium pieces off of Amazon was a gamble. Boy did it pay off! The two pieces I received were far better and had more character than I could have hoped for! They are going to make a great addition to my 2 tanks! Had I been thinking, I would have snapped pictures before I started soaking them but I will post once they are in the tanks!

After reading other customer reviews, (as with everything you buy nowadays), I was a little leery of what I was going to receive. When I received the package and opened it I was very pleasantly surprised! I received two very beautiful pieces of driftwood. Both pieces have ALOT of character. One is sized as to what I would think would be a "medium" piece and the other is well, large. My tank is a 30 long and if I put both pieces in it would be overfilled. As to tannin, which is why I purchased the driftwood to begin with, I soaked the smaller one for 48 hours with hardly any being released. After a thorough rinsing I put in my tank and there is no cloudiness to speak of. The only negative I could say is that the wood is very rough and I did have to do some sanding myself. My thoughts on this though is that it is a driftwood, and by me having to sand I could shape it myself which helped give the piece even more character. With the knots and shape it somewhat resembles a lizard like creature and friends that have seen it are completely wowed by it. I would purchase again and would definitely recommend.

They were okay. Definitely smaller than advertised, and one came broken. I sae better pieces as my local pet store. Plus I waited for months for shipping.

DO NOT USE THIS IN AN AQUARIUM. It might be fine in a terrarium but these pieces turned my aqaurium water black! I've soaked them 5 times in a bucket and they keep leeching tanins or whatever the **** it is. Total trash. Waste of money.

Great pieces of wood! My plecos love it.We got 2 pieces of medium sized and while they vary, one is perfect for our 39 gallon and the other works great in our 55 gallon tank. Which already has a previously ordered medium piece.I suggest ordering the 2 pack of medium for anyone with 55 gallon tanks for less. That way you get 2 options since they are all different.I would think a large would be far too big for anything less than a 55 gallon.Boil wood to leach the tannins faster. It took about a day on medium high heat and a few water changes. Then soak with room temperature water until its a very pale tea color.

This wood is beautiful, but the pieces are not even close to 22" long ( as advertised). I understand that this wood is a natural product and sizes will vary, but each piece is only 9" long.
