The wheels do not stay on the posts. I followed the directions, put a piece of wood in the wheel and used a hammer to get the wheel to stay on and the wheel cracked in half. Needless to say these cannot be used now. Waste of money.

The casters were identical to the ones I had to replace because an original caster on my coffee table broke. They were very easy to install, and that is saying a lot since I am 75 years old and live by myself. They came with a Phillips screwdriver and hardware to use for two different methods of installation.

I purchased the caster wheels in the hope that they would fit an old chair that I had.They worked great!Included with the wheels were various fitting so I think these may work in several types of chairs.

I needed replacements for a Sears Dehumidifier that we have had for many years. The mounting plates were too large but I was able to cut them down to size. They are better than the originals so I expect they will last many more years. They come with several different mounting options.

The openings in the casters are too small, no matter how hard you press, the stems cannot be pushed into the casters. Had to slightly enlarge the opening of the casters for the stem to be pressed in. Finally, it is working.

The casters came with so much extra hardware they could be used with anything. after installing, my coffee table rolls better than it did when it was brand new. I paid $1,000 for my coffee table plus the end table that goes with it. It is an Ashley signature design with a lift up top and four drawers. one of the wheel snapped after owning it for a year. I found these on Amazon and they were better than the originals, they even included a screwdriver. You can't go wrong with these casters.

I installed the casters on an old leather office chair and they appear to be functioning as advertised. Installation was a bit more difficult than I expected. The directions called for pressing or hammering the caster onto the provided metal stem. I could not get the caster to properly seat on the stem after several attempts with the hammer. I was concerned that the excessive pounding would damage my chair. I then applied some automotive grease that I had in the garage to the stem and tried again with the hammer. This did the trick. Also, the wood screws that were provided to attach the top plate to the chair had a beveled head whereas the hole in the top plate was not beveled; no biggie but kind of a rookie mistake.
