The rubber feed on my generator broke off quite a while ago and I used these pads to replace them. The pads have a solid ribbed surface on both sides that helps keep my generator from moving around and has a spongy center. They seem to do a good job keeping the rattling down.There is no recess for the bolt heads in this design. I used a washer under the bolt and was able to pull it below the bottom surface by tightening it down without to much trouble. I have the other two left, and I'm thinking I'll try a small hole saw to see if I can just cut out a bit leaving the one side in place so the bolt is recessed.

It looks like it will work for a while but it needs improvements. The rubber should be stiffer or there should be a flat metal plate on the top to prevent the air compressor from squishing the rubber and most likely cutting through it over time
