Great design and easy to assemble. My 3 year old was able to use it to help make quick christmas cookies this year. Easy to clean. Great price.

This is tough enough to squeeze out the dough and all my old disks work in it. I like the heart disk especially. Easy to fill and use. I like the way the handle works, much better than the old style. I have gone thru 2 of these over the years, one was metal and the threads holding the cap would slip letting dough squeeze out. Comes apart for easy cleaning

This is a great cookie press. Metal discs make such a difference (instead of plastic). Very sturdy. The handle is very easy to use and I made 100+ cookies in my first batch. Works very well. Nice variety of designs. Sunflower disc is my favorite.

I use a cookie press for Spritz Cookies at Xmas in the shapes of Xmas trees and wreaths. I have made them for years but the last few years I have been having trouble with the dough keeping its shape after pulling up the press and going to make the next cookie.NO TROUBLE WITH THIS PRESS! The trigger handle releases the exact amount of dough needed for the cookie and the bottom of the tube does not slide and wreck the shape of cookie after release. It has a material on the end of the tube that keeps it steady so it wont slide. Now I will keep making them cuz it is so rewarding and easy.

This is a very sturdy cookie press which includes about 10 different design tips. Nothing to learn about putting in the dough and pressing just the right amount of pressure to get a lovely cookie. My only regret was that the cookies come out a bit too small.

Used a cookie press for first time ever today, and while I agree with the Facebook dogs who say, "Don't break a treat in half and call it 2 treats," it was easy to fill and use. The 10 dozen cookies the pistachio recipe makes would make 2.5 or 3 dozen normal sized cookies. I read a lot about cookie presses before I bought this one, and a lot of people stated it took a while to learn how much dough to squeeze for each cookie. With this one, guesswork is eliminated. You squeeze the handle until it clicks, lift gizmo off cookie sheet, and there you have the exact amount of dough needed. Something I didn't see anywhere was how to push dough down snugly in press to eliminate air pickets without dough coming out the bottom of the press. I ended up holding a many times folded paper towel over the plate. People said just scrape dough that comes out back into the bowl, but I didn't like doing that. I will tell any other novices like myself that when the recipe says to remove large chunks of pistachio, what they mean is run pistachios through a screen sieve after processing them. I did have quite a few problems with 1/10" pistachio pieces jamming openings in design plate until I switched to a plate with larger openings. At that point it was a bit late for sifting lol. I'm a little concerned about getting the portion of machine with pressing mechanism thoroughly clean. That part is not dishwasher safe, and as far as I can tell, it doesn't come apart. Cookie dough was in some areas hard to reach with dish cloth or paper towels. The press seems sturdy, and overall I'm happy with it.

Wow!! I have been using a press every year for so long and always end up with a problem! This is the best one i have ever had! NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE! I do use my grandmas's recipe cause i made them with her since i have been about 3 or 4 and there recipe for the butter cookies are very similar! Did the recipe X4 Saturday with a lot of frustration but today a double and was perfect with this press! Wish i had this one on Saturday for sure!!!

This is not my first cookie press. My Williams Sonoma one zapped out after 9 successful years. This arrived Tuesday, Nov 26 in anticipation of baking on Friday, Nov 29 ( today). Open the box and everything seems sturdy enough. Weighty but not heavy. All components secure properly. I load the tube and instant success. First batch of 25 cookies went fine, so I load again. The second cookie of the second batch hits a snag, I hear a huge snap and my palm starts to sting. The entire handle snapped off. So now I am currently scrambling around town trying to find a new press since I am currently baking. I am disgusted with this purchase.
