I don't do reviews very often, but this is a remarkable product. I don't know how I've been a mechanic for 35 years and have not had these. I got these for the rusted valve cover bolts on a 5.4 Triton. They performed flawlessly, beat them on, and take the bolt out. It's that simple, top notch quality. Worth every cent if you live in the rust belt. Don't go with the Chinese one, they're junk. These are American made, and they work and feel like it.

As you can see in the first two pictures, this triple square bolt stripped pretty bad inside. What you can also see is that it is no longer bolted to anything. It took me only two tries, but the bolt came off in less than sixty seconds total and I replaced right away. I tried a few other methods like hammering-in a larger socket, locking pliers, and even my Knipex dual grip pliers, but the outside of the bolt's head is already as round as it can be.Aside from the ease of use and efficiency, these socket are pretty sturdy. The last two pictures show how the 10mm socket I used still looks like brand new after serving its purpose. Another solid recommendation from Project Farm!

Outstanding quality. Got frozen bolt off (auto) without a problem. Expensive, but really well made and worth it.

Always support USA made products that are of high quality materials. This worked brilliantly on two stripped 14mm brass bolts. Five seconds of effort and bolts were still usable with no further damage. It is worth the extra cost to buy a high quality USA product with a lifetime warranty.

Seriously, these are nice. The spiral groove design makes these superior compared to your typical department store extractor sets. These suckers grip onto a bolt head with ease when you tap them on. Does not slip, doesn’t get cock-eyed when you start to loosen. Made in USA quality. Blow molded case is the cherry on top. This is some stuff you’d see on a Snap-on truck for $300. Very well crafted and I highly recommend.

I originally bought these to save me from a rounded off oil drain plug caused by a dealership. It worked great, and prevented me from having to replace the whole oil pan. They surely are impact-rated, as I had to use an impact gun to get the stubborn plug off. Since then, I have successfully used them in many scenarios, often times in hard-to-reach areas with multiple extensions. The ones I have used seemed a little worn after a few uses, but they do bite well, and the company offers the warranty, which I haven't tried yet.

I bought this a couple of months ago just in case I run into a stripped or rusted bolt. Well the day came that I ran into 3 of them on one job and I pulled these out. I was amazed on how easy they removed the bolts. They are definitely a life saver and you get a lot for the price. I like that they are USA made also. I highly recommend them! You might not need them everyday, but you’ll be glad you have them when the time comes.

Geniuses at Brake Check rounded out my wife's car oil drain plug a few years ago. I have been using an oil pump to do the changes at home, but wanted to try this set and finally replace it.That should be a 17mm socket, but ended up using one 2 sizes smaller. Got it on after an hour of on/off session with a hammer.The socket took a beating and gripped after it was on about half way. After that, popped on a breaker bar and got it loose! Threads stayed intact luckily and was able to put a new plug in.Now just need to get the old one unstuck from the Rocket Socket ...

As professional mower mechanics we do not often get stuck, but last week we had a bolt that even our big gun (an air impact tool), was just rounding off. I know the day would come when we needed a set like these and our research, (watching youtube Project Farm) said these were the best.After a few days for delivery, the bolt is out and the socket looks as good as new.
