There's a very very wide range of grit 80-1200.... for the job I needed, I mostly needed just 3 of them.That said - the auger fits nicely into my drill, and the spots on the deck railings and boards for which I got these pads looks much better.The small size did make for lots of work, but for those smaller areas the size was just right. (I didn't sand the whole deck, just spots where there were mill marks and area where wood putty needed smoothing)
